# DandyHats vs BAEZ

DandyHats and BAEZ both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of BAEZ's written reviews are positive against 56% of DandyHats's. BAEZ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). DandyHats's advantage is ratings volume (619 vs 8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for DandyHats against 5.0 for BAEZ. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DandyHats has 619 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of DandyHats's written reviews are positive against 100% of BAEZ's.

DandyHats ships an update every 5 weeks, BAEZ every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
