# Screen Time Limit vs NowFocus

The clearest difference is update cadence: NowFocus at every 5 days against Screen Time Limit's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Time Limit sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and NowFocus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Time Limit ships an update fortnightly, NowFocus every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
