# 128 Things vs Pixels

The clearest difference is ads: 128 Things at none against Pixels's shown. Pixels's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 128 Things sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixels sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

128 Things ships an update fortnightly, Pixels every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
