# 128 Things vs Spin Magic Bean

The clearest difference is ads: 128 Things at none against Spin Magic Bean's shown. 128 Things also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 128 Things sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Spin Magic Bean sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
