# 128 Things vs Severance

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: 128 Things at 12.0 against Severance's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 128 Things sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Severance sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

128 Things ships an update fortnightly, Severance every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
