# Redz vs JO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Redz at 77% against JO's 25%. Redz also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.6) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 7). JO's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Redz sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. JO asks for nothing beyond the download.

Redz holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Redz has 1.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Redz's written reviews are positive against 25% of JO's.

Redz ships an update weekly, JO fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
