# Smart IV vs RaidReady

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smart IV at every 8 days against RaidReady's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart IV sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and RaidReady sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart IV ships an update every 8 days, RaidReady every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
