# FasterWaxer vs GetGrip

The clearest difference is update cadence: FasterWaxer at every 2 weeks against GetGrip's every 4 months. FasterWaxer also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FasterWaxer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GetGrip sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FasterWaxer ships an update every 2 weeks, GetGrip every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
