# seats.aero vs ARDAR

seats.aero and ARDAR both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ARDAR's written reviews are positive against 13% of seats.aero's. seats.aero's advantage is ratings volume (5.9K vs 12) and chart position (#121 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. seats.aero sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $20.00 per month and ARDAR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for seats.aero against 4.7 for ARDAR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: seats.aero has 5.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of seats.aero's written reviews are positive against 100% of ARDAR's.

seats.aero ships an update fortnightly, ARDAR every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
