# Aitubo vs Remote Shutter Camera

The clearest difference is ads: Aitubo at none against Remote Shutter Camera's shown. Aitubo also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 8) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Remote Shutter Camera's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aitubo sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Remote Shutter Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote Shutter Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aitubo has 1.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Aitubo's written reviews are positive against 50% of Remote Shutter Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aitubo ships an update weekly, Remote Shutter Camera fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
