# Turning vs Loft

The clearest difference is ads: Turning at none against Loft's shown. Loft's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Turning sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Loft sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Turning ships an update weekly, Loft every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
