# Snipe Lights vs iTrain Hockey+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iTrain Hockey+ at 91% against Snipe Lights's 50%. iTrain Hockey+ also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (38 vs 2). Snipe Lights's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTrain Hockey+ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Snipe Lights asks for nothing beyond the download.

Snipe Lights holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTrain Hockey+ has 38 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Snipe Lights's written reviews are positive against 91% of iTrain Hockey+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snipe Lights ships an update every 9 months, iTrain Hockey+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
