# SecureAnyBox vs FTP Client

The clearest difference is update cadence: FTP Client at every 6 weeks against SecureAnyBox's every 4 months. SecureAnyBox's advantage is iOS requirement (12.2 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SecureAnyBox ships an update every 4 months, FTP Client every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
