# TV Wars vs StageStar

The clearest difference is rating: TV Wars at 4.7 against StageStar's 3.9. TV Wars also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (707 vs 127). StageStar's advantage is chart position (#39 vs unranked) and review sentiment (59% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Wars sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and StageStar sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TV Wars holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Wars has 707 ratings behind it against 127, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of TV Wars's written reviews are positive against 59% of StageStar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TV Wars ships an update every 2 days, StageStar every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
