# BaseBlocks+ vs TrainLog App

The clearest difference is rating: BaseBlocks+ at 4.9 against TrainLog App's 4.5. BaseBlocks+ also leads on ratings volume (81 vs 2). TrainLog App's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BaseBlocks+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month and TrainLog App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BaseBlocks+ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BaseBlocks+ has 81 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of BaseBlocks+'s written reviews are positive against 100% of TrainLog App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BaseBlocks+ ships an update every 5 weeks, TrainLog App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
