# BaseBlocks+ vs Andry Strong Universe

The clearest difference is monetization model: Andry Strong Universe at free against BaseBlocks+'s free with in-app purchases. Andry Strong Universe also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). BaseBlocks+'s advantage is ratings volume (81 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BaseBlocks+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month and Andry Strong Universe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for BaseBlocks+ against 5.0 for Andry Strong Universe. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BaseBlocks+ has 81 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BaseBlocks+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Andry Strong Universe every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
