# MetaShot vs Shadow Cricket AI

The clearest difference is ads: MetaShot at none against Shadow Cricket AI's shown. MetaShot also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 65%). Shadow Cricket AI's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MetaShot sells 23 one-off in-app purchases and Shadow Cricket AI sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shadow Cricket AI holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 20 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of MetaShot's written reviews are positive against 65% of Shadow Cricket AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MetaShot ships an update weekly, Shadow Cricket AI fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
