# Michael + Rose vs VICI

The clearest difference is monetization model: Michael + Rose at free against VICI's free with in-app purchases. Michael + Rose also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). VICI's advantage is ratings volume (9.6K vs 7) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Michael + Rose against 5.0 for VICI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VICI has 9.6K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Michael + Rose ships an update monthly, VICI every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
