# Pleny vs WHY NOT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WHY NOT at none against Pleny's 1. WHY NOT also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pleny sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. WHY NOT asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pleny ships an update every 2 weeks, WHY NOT every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
