# New Year's Eve vs Parentify

The clearest difference is ads: Parentify at none against New Year's Eve's shown. New Year's Eve's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.3 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. New Year's Eve sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Parentify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

New Year's Eve ships an update every 11 days, Parentify every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
