# MAPPING vs Flip Clock 3D

The clearest difference is ads: MAPPING at none against Flip Clock 3D's shown. Flip Clock 3D's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MAPPING sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Flip Clock 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MAPPING holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock 3D has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

MAPPING ships an update every 6 weeks, Flip Clock 3D weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
