# Countdown vs FOSTER TOGETHER

The clearest difference is ads: Countdown at none against FOSTER TOGETHER's shown. FOSTER TOGETHER's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FOSTER TOGETHER sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update every 6 weeks, FOSTER TOGETHER every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
