# Countdown vs Horizee

The clearest difference is update cadence: Horizee at every 11 days against Countdown's every 6 weeks. Countdown's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Horizee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update every 6 weeks, Horizee every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
