# Anytype vs Timeless Reality

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Timeless Reality at 100% against Anytype's 64%. Timeless Reality also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Anytype's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anytype sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Timeless Reality sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timeless Reality holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anytype has 245 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Anytype's written reviews are positive against 100% of Timeless Reality's.

Anytype ships an update fortnightly, Timeless Reality every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
