# PDC Performance vs Step Royale

The clearest difference is rating: Step Royale at 5.0 against PDC Performance's 4.3. Step Royale also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). PDC Performance's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDC Performance sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Step Royale asks for nothing beyond the download.

Step Royale holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDC Performance has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PDC Performance ships an update every 2 days, Step Royale every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
