# Vivaci Audio vs DAW Shortcuts

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vivaci Audio at free against DAW Shortcuts's freemium. Vivaci Audio also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vivaci Audio sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and DAW Shortcuts sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Vivaci Audio against 5.0 for DAW Shortcuts. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Vivaci Audio ships an update every 4 days, DAW Shortcuts every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
