# VR Tutor vs Coursiv

The clearest difference is update cadence: Coursiv at weekly against VR Tutor's every 3 months. VR Tutor's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VR Tutor sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Coursiv sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VR Tutor ships an update every 3 months, Coursiv weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
