# AI Expert vs Forward

The clearest difference is ads: Forward at none against AI Expert's shown. Forward also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Expert sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Forward sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
