# unforgettable vs Listen 2 Reader

The clearest difference is monetization model: Listen 2 Reader at free with in-app purchases against unforgettable's subscription. Listen 2 Reader also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). unforgettable's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. unforgettable sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $16.00 per month and Listen 2 Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

unforgettable holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Listen 2 Reader has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

unforgettable ships an update every 2 months, Listen 2 Reader every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
