# Cryptific vs THE LIVE DROP

The clearest difference is update cadence: THE LIVE DROP at every 4 days against Cryptific's every 35 months. THE LIVE DROP also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.2). Cryptific's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Cryptific against 5.0 for THE LIVE DROP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cryptific has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cryptific ships an update every 35 months, THE LIVE DROP every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
