# Venom Evolution vs Alien Run

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Venom Evolution at 50% against Alien Run's 6%. Venom Evolution also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Alien Run's advantage is rating (2.3 vs 2.0) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alien Run sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Venom Evolution asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alien Run holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Venom Evolution's written reviews are positive against 6% of Alien Run's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Venom Evolution ships an update every 6 weeks, Alien Run every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
