# Texting App vs AgentsChat

The clearest difference is rating: AgentsChat at 5.0 against Texting App's 4.5. Texting App's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Texting App sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and AgentsChat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AgentsChat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Texting App has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Texting App ships an update monthly, AgentsChat every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
