# SIE Exam Prep 2026 vs SIE Exam Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: SIE Exam Prep 2026 at free with in-app purchases against SIE Exam Pro's subscription. SIE Exam Prep 2026 also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). SIE Exam Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIE Exam Prep 2026 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and SIE Exam Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SIE Exam Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIE Exam Prep 2026 has 120 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SIE Exam Prep 2026 ships an update every 7 months, SIE Exam Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
