# Coffee Fellows vs El Sol

The clearest difference is update cadence: El Sol at every 3 weeks against Coffee Fellows's every 6 months. Coffee Fellows's advantage is ratings volume (108 vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Coffee Fellows holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coffee Fellows has 108 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Coffee Fellows ships an update every 6 months, El Sol every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
