# RiverTodo vs Ordinal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ordinal at every 3 days against RiverTodo's every 11 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RiverTodo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ordinal sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RiverTodo ships an update every 11 days, Ordinal every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
