# Note vs Video Summarizer

The clearest difference is ads: Note at none against Video Summarizer's shown. Note also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Video Summarizer's advantage is ratings volume (157 vs 20). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Video Summarizer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Note against 4.7 for Video Summarizer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Summarizer has 157 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Note's written reviews are positive against 75% of Video Summarizer's.

Note ships an update every 9 days, Video Summarizer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
