# Note vs Voicepal

The clearest difference is ads: Note at none against Voicepal's shown. Note also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Voicepal's advantage is ratings volume (652 vs 20) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Voicepal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voicepal holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voicepal has 652 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Note's written reviews are positive against 79% of Voicepal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Note ships an update every 9 days, Voicepal every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
