# Note vs Chatly

Note and Chatly both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Note's written reviews are positive against 33% of Chatly's. Note also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Chatly's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 20). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Chatly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Note against 4.6 for Chatly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chatly has 2.1K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Note's written reviews are positive against 33% of Chatly's.

Note ships an update every 9 days, Chatly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
