# Soundiverse vs SignChat

The clearest difference is ads: Soundiverse at none against SignChat's shown. Soundiverse also leads on iOS requirement (16.3 vs 18.2). SignChat's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soundiverse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SignChat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $139.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Soundiverse ships an update every 4 weeks, SignChat weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
