# Scan Cam vs Scan It

The clearest difference is ads: Scan It at none against Scan Cam's shown. Scan It also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (160 vs 25). Scan Cam's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
