# Hidden Camera vs Device Detector Tracking Bug

The clearest difference is monetization model: Hidden Camera at free with in-app purchases against Device Detector Tracking Bug's subscription. Hidden Camera also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Device Detector Tracking Bug's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 14%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hidden Camera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Device Detector Tracking Bug sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hidden Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 370 and 163 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Hidden Camera's written reviews are positive against 40% of Device Detector Tracking Bug's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
