# Block Apps vs ChartEye

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChartEye at every 2 weeks against Block Apps's every 5 weeks. ChartEye also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Apps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month and ChartEye sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Apps ships an update every 5 weeks, ChartEye every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
