# Chat PLUS vs Screen Recorder · Record Video

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chat PLUS at 100% against Screen Recorder · Record Video's 27%. Chat PLUS also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Screen Recorder · Record Video's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (179 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat PLUS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Screen Recorder · Record Video sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Recorder · Record Video holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder · Record Video has 179 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Chat PLUS's written reviews are positive against 27% of Screen Recorder · Record Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
