# Boundless vs Elmhurst Public Library+

The clearest difference is rating: Boundless at 4.4 against Elmhurst Public Library+'s 2.6. Boundless also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 9). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boundless holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boundless has 18K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Boundless's written reviews are positive against 40% of Elmhurst Public Library+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
