# The Battlegrounds vs IYBL

The clearest difference is update cadence: IYBL at every 3 days against The Battlegrounds's every 13 months. The Battlegrounds's advantage is ratings volume (143 vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IYBL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Battlegrounds has 143 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Battlegrounds ships an update every 13 months, IYBL every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
