# Watch Faces vs Faces Hub

The clearest difference is rating: Watch Faces at 4.8 against Faces Hub's 3.5. Watch Faces also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Faces Hub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Faces holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Watch Faces ships an update every 6 months, Faces Hub every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
