# AIChat vs Ditto

The clearest difference is ads: Ditto at none against AIChat's shown. Ditto also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). AIChat's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIChat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Ditto sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for AIChat against 5.0 for Ditto. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AIChat has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AIChat ships an update every 3 weeks, Ditto every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
