# Secret Diary with Locks vs APP LOCK

The clearest difference is ads: Secret Diary with Locks at none against APP LOCK's shown. APP LOCK's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret Diary with Locks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year and APP LOCK sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret Diary with Locks ships an update every 3 months, APP LOCK weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
