# TikConnect vs PapayaVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: PapayaVPN at monthly against TikConnect's every 5 months. PapayaVPN also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TikConnect sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and PapayaVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TikConnect ships an update every 5 months, PapayaVPN monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
