# LOTON vs RandList

The clearest difference is ads: RandList at none against LOTON's shown. LOTON's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LOTON ships an update fortnightly, RandList every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
